I'm NOT a monogamous reader...

A few years ago a friend and I were having a discussion about what all books we were reading, her husband just thought we were crazy, and asked, how we could possibly keep it all straight with reading several different books all at the same time. I'll admit that sometimes I get a bit confused as to what story I'm actually in, if I've not read one in a while until I get back into the story line, but in general I can have a couple of books going at once. I have one up by my bed, to read at night, one by the couch, so when I'm sitting and it's quiet... (it does happen occasionally in our crazy household!) and one in the car or two, so that if I ever get stuck waiting on the kids or something and I'm just sitting in a parking lot or something I can read to keep myself occupied. Liam is usually happy enough watching whatever movie is on in the van at that time. It's currently Blue's Clue's (Boo Boo!), he just watches that over and over again.

Amanda looked at the books I'm reading list while helping me get all this blog stuff sorted out and posted, and asked the same thing... How can you be reading all those books at the same time?!?!?! I just do... that's all.
